The SOON experience is centered around intentional connections. Instead of the typical and uninspiring greeting of "hey, how are you?" the first message on SOON is a personalized invitation to meet up for a casual date at one of our recommended locations.

SOON is a members-only dating app available in the Bay Area. We are currently keeping our community exclusive as we gradually roll out, so you'll need to request access. All requests are placed in a queue and continuously reviewed. Trust us, it will be worth the wait.

Get a Glimpse

Take a look at your match's video response to a prompt. A short video can convey more about a person (and whether you click with them) than an endless exchange of text messages.

Make a Plan & Be Together Soon

First messages include a proposed time to meet, which can be arranged as soon as possible but within a few days at most. Next, choose a location from "SOON's List" - a curated selection of charming spots near you. Please respond to invitations within 24 hours!

Reflect

After your date, take a moment to reflect on your experience in your Journal and keep track of your feelings over time. We understand that dating can become complicated, and we're here to support you.

Features

• Select the times you are available to meet throughout the week.
• Explore SOON's List and choose a go-to spot from over 100 local venues, including cafes, bars, and parks.
• After matching, view someone's Glimpse - an 8-30 second video response to one of our prompts.
• Invite a match out by selecting one of their available times and a spot from SOON's List. Add a brief personal message to make it special.
• Respond to invitations within 24 hours.
• Reschedule plans if needed.
• Keep track of sent, received, confirmed, and timed-out invites.
• Record personal insights in your Journal (never shared with matches).
• Stay informed about offline events such as Group Blind Dates and themed mixers hosted by SOON.
